LESSON PLANS
The plans below are meant to be used as a guideline to help you design your own practices. They are designed to encourage athlete engagement and meaningful questions for the athletes to learn. They are listed in the order created, but of course could be mixed and matched to work best for you and your team. They are all roughly 1.5 hours with the same timing to help athletes get into a consistent practice pattern.
10 minutes – Discussion Points/Important Questions
15 minutes – Range Preparation, Zero, Confirm
35 minutes – Combo Practice Working on Session Focus
25 minutes – 1 Skill/Drill and 1 Game Based on Focus
These could be suitable for athletes aged 9 to 13 with some adaptation for each group.
